Jack joined SANE in 2012, building on his previous contribution in youth mental health. His wealth of experience and dedication has seen SANE grow significantly through providing much-needed services, advocating for policy change and building a research program that makes a real difference in the lives of people affected by complex mental health issues.
“I was privileged to be invited to build on the big-hearted legacy of Anne Deveson, Marg Leggatt and Barbara Hocking. My time with SANE has been such a special period in my life. I feel proud of what I, the Board, the team, our Peer Ambassadors and our generous supporters have been able to achieve together.” said Jack.
The Board extends its heartfelt appreciation to Jack for his outstanding leadership, contribution and tireless efforts for the community SANE serves – and notes his twenty-five years of service in suicide prevention and supporting people dealing with the more complex mental health issues.
Chair of the Board Lucy Myer says, “On behalf of the Board and staff, we whole-heartedly thank Jack for his incredible contribution to SANE. He has much to be proud of and leaves a lasting legacy alongside the CEOs who served before him.”
Jack will continue in his role until the end of the year. Egon Zehnder has been appointed by the SANE Board to assist in the search for a new CEO and enquiries should be directed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
