But a new initiative from SANE, SANE Forums, is finding that smart phones can be a game changer in the treatment of mental health problems for people living in rural areas.
Kristin lives in a regional area and she spoke to Rob Mailer of ABC Local Radio Queensland, sharing her struggle to find treatment for mental illness.
Rob Mailer also interviewed Jack Heath, CEO of SANE, who said the SANE Forums were an example of the Australian mental health sector showing leadership by collaborating to build the world’s best mental health care system.
